The Glaistig Group is a women-led Scottish private investigation agency providing discreet, lawful and evidence-focused support to private clients, law firms, HR teams, and property professionals across Scotland. We combine formal investigative training with a trauma-aware, client-centred approach, delivering clear, practical reports that are easy to use in real-world decision making.

Professional standards are at the heart of how we work. The Glaistig Group operates within Scots law and UK-wide legal frameworks, following clear internal procedures for surveillance, OSINT, background checks and evidence handling. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a data controller and comply with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR, as well as having full public indemnity and liability insurance for the clients' peace of mind. We model our practice on the Association of British Investigators’ Code of Ethics and Professional Standards and are currently in the process of obtaining ABI membership.
Our investigators bring strong academic and professional credentials to every case:
Our Senior Investigator holds the SFJ Awards Level 3 Award for Professional Investigators, the nationally recognised qualification for UK investigators; graduated from University of Edinburgh, an ICDL qualification; GDPR Awareness Certification, trauma-aware certifications including adult/child safeguarding, and specialises in OSINT and desktop-based investigations both private and corporate.
One of our Junior Investigators is also a graduate from University of Edinburgh; holding GDPR awareness, EDI, and mental health certifications, as well as cyber security, and with a focus on charity and third sector matters, drawing on three years experience with ongoing work with not-for-profit clients.
We also contract outwith the company to provide a tailored service, including genealogy searches, and foot-mobile surveillance. We are also looking to get our Process Serving courses completed to expand into England and Wales, and liaise with Sheriff Officers in Scotland.
